The Scout screw counter prevents costly screw fastening errors at an affordable price. The Scout learns the characteristics of the assembly (fastener rundown time, tool and type of joint). It detects cross threading, omissions, unfinished rundowns and cycle complete.
The Scout is programmed manually through the keypad. The unit gives the operator audible and visual
indications that the assembly has been completed or if it has been rejected. The Scout can interact with a PLC to activate other functions for line control.
STC30 Plus Transformer
The Scout is powered by the STC30 Plus. It only operates with this transformer and works with most Mountz electric screwdrivers.
